Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Options

 v    Reliable Onsite Substance Testing, LLC, d.b.a. Reliable OnSite, offers on-site collection of DOT and workplace specimens. This saves time and money, while causing the least amount of disruption to employees work schedules.  Our laboratory professionals assure the employer of quality collections.  Reliable Onsite also provides test analysis by SouthwestLaboratories, a DOT certified laboratory.  Tests are performed and reported to the employer within 24 hours of receipt. Onsite screening tests can also be performed and with negative results, can be reported before Reliable Onsite leaves the employers’ site.

v    Rapid Testing using the Rapid Drug Screen test kits (for non-DOT use only) is the second option. This is the best way of quickly and efficiently performing drug-screening tests at the workplace.  Specimens are collected and tested at the workplace. It is cost effective, fast and 100% accurate. The proprietary test strip is proven to correlate 100% with results generated by the EMIT II standard laboratory drug screen. Built in tamper detection measures ensures this non-invasive drug screen produces accurate results.  Adulteration check strips are used with the rapid testing kits to determine the specimen submitted by the employee is free of common adulterants that may mask a positive drug screen.

v    Breath Alcohol Testing is performed on-site using the Phoenix Evidential Breath Alcohol Testing Device.  This device is capable of obtaining reporting and printing the precise breath alcohol concentration of the individual being tested. All evidential breath testing (EBT) is performed by our DOT certified breath alcohol technicians (BATs) and takes approximately 10 minutes. The Phoenix unit is certified by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and is recognized around the world for its accuracy and speed.

v    Reliable Onsite special software will provide true random selections for your company’s drug and alcohol testing program.  This software has the capability of generating multiple lists for each employer group, differentiating between DOT vs. non-DOT, location, department or pool by percentage or count.  Reports are easily generated from the selection histories.  These can be queried by date, company or even by employee.  Every random selection generated is automatically logged into an audit file.  The audit insures adherence to your company’s selection guidelines. DOT selections strictly comply with DOT standards and reduce your total cost of compliance through selection control.

v    All services provided by Reliable Onsite Substance Screening, L.L.C are available 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

v     We use Mobile Compliance units which allows us to go onsite for you for one or more collections. This facility has been carefully custom built to meet the Department of Transportations model of a collection site and they are capable of accommodating the handicapped with a wheel chair accessible restroom and a rear ramp enterance.
